Touch Health convened a group of business leaders to explore the role of private sector leadership in advancing newborn survival in Tanzania. The discussion centered on watotoCare, Touch’s postnatal care model, which connects mothers, frontline providers, and health facilities during the most vulnerable days after birth — when timely follow-up can mean the difference between life and loss. The gathering underscored a shared belief that maternal and newborn health is not only a public health priority, but a collective leadership responsibility. We are grateful to all who participated and to our co-hosts for helping bring together a thoughtful and committed group dedicated to ensuring that no newborn dies from preventable causes.
